What’s Inside the Shiseido Beauty Mansion

This makeup brand known for its “no makeup” healthy-radiant-glow-primers is founded by the renowned makeup artist, Laura Mercier from France. I first heard of it in the beauty blogging community back when I was a newbie blogger. I really wanted to have Galadriel-level glowy skin so I bought my first high-end tinted moisturizer at Rustan’s Beauty Source. I loved it so much that I got excited to casually review it on the blog (link here). It was one of my first blog posts!

I also just recently bought their translucent compact powder to replace my good old Chanel powder that I accidentally lost at the event! I’ve been using Laura Mercier translucent loose powder as my setting powder for months. I highly recommend that product and loved it so much I thought it was time to get its compact version.

I was first introduced to the brand through a beauty blogging event where I bought my first Shiseido Ultimune Power Concentrate . It’s supposed to boost your skin’s immune system to reduce signs of aging like wrinkles and dullness. Some say you use this before your serum… I like to use it as my main serum especially on days when I don’t wear any face makeup. Shiseido was formed in 1872 as the first western-style pharmacy in Japan. They strive to create luxurious and advance-technology skincare, makeup, and fragrance lines for both men and women.

Did you know that 2 Nars Orgasm blushes are sold every minute? That’s impressive! I recently read that at Shiseido Group’s website and was instantly reminded of my first ever high-end powder blush from Nars. Every beauty enthusiast was gushing about how flattering Nars Orgasm is on the cheeks. So I hurriedly saved up for it, fell in love, and reviewed or at least consistently raved about on this blog! Nars is founded by Francois Nars, one of the most influential photographers and makeup artists.

Senka is actually a brand I haven’t tried before. That’s because they are still about to launch in the Philippines soon. I spoke to their representative at the launch party and if, I remember it correctly, their skincare line will be sold at Watsons and online at Lazada. Senka is an affordable skincare brand available in Japan and other parts of Asia. They have a skincare and body care line, which includes a facial wash, makeup cleanser, moisturizers, body soap, sunscreen and more.

Shiseido Philippines will also launch fragrance lines including, Dolce & Gabbana, Issey Miyake and Narciso Rodriguez.
