January Favorites ♥
These are the things I’ve been loving since January. I apologize in advance for the lack of Beauty products on this post. I’ve been on a no-make-up-product shopping restriction since December, and I was doing okay… until a few days ago when I relapsed and bought some Sleek blushes online. Cause of relapse? Diana’s recent review on the newly released Sleek blushes :)
PS : Can you tell from my hair on this pic that I was frightened to death I might burn my eyes with the curling wand?
One of my last purchases last year was to pre-order the Naked 3 Palette online. I had to wait three long months for it because half of the beauty community bought them all! You people are fast. And I was pleasantly happy to finally get my hands on it a week ago. It’s really really REALLY BEAUTIFUL. To be honest I didn’t think I would like it this much. I’ll explain more in the review post soon, but so far I think I like it better than the first Naked Palette.
Also, meet my good ol Mac Brave lipstick. It is one of the best MLBB (my lips but better) shades I’ve ever tried and it matches the rosegold eye shadows from the Naked 3 Palette really well. Like a match made in heaven. So I have been using both nonstop lately. My only complaint about it is I wish it lasted longer on the lips.
updating my wardrobe
I usually don’t share most of my fashion hauls in my blog because my camera has a tendency to show off and abnormally magnify imperfections of most fabrics. But since I had very few beauty related things to share with you today. I wanted to show some of my favorite accessories hauls this month.
I got the stunning black statement necklace and the basic black skater skirt it is laying on, from Promod. These rhinestone studded shoes are from Aldo – really pretty but hurts my ankles like hell sometimes. And I got this basic black “mature” bag from Charles and Keith.
Two things I wasn’t able to photograph today were my new Plains and Prints Navy Skort ala Kendall Jenner, and the sparkly bracelet sent to me by RoseWholesale which you can find in our ongoing giveway here.
These are one of the most memorable things I gained from blogging. A fellow blogger, and a good friend of mine, Naaj, sent me these Christmas presents last year… all the way from Europe! How sweet is that! She even included several “queen” themed stickers, which I carefully transferred on a piece of paper to keep. I never expected that I would meet such a generous and kind hearted person here. The best blogging perk will always be the friendships that we gain here.
And lastly are my two current entertainment obsessions, Tyler Posey’s abs the TV show Teen Wolf and Maklemore’s song Same Love, which has been stuck playing in my head for days now. I blame the Grammy’s for it. That is it for today ladies, I wish you a great and relaxing week ahead! :)
