I’m quite bummed out I missed the launch event of Kathryn Bernardo’s collection with Happy Skin. Especially after I’ve tried these cute butter lipsticks that are so smooth I got a little bit addicted to gliding it on my lips. I’m still recovering from my injuries so while I’m missing out on the fun at the event, here I am typing these first impressions so I could share reviews and a swatch photo for those interested in ordering them online.

Happy Skin made it clear on the product’s name of what type of lipstick you’ll be getting. These are very pigmented and comfortable when worn with a satin to glossy finish. It’s glossy by default but I was able to blot it out a little bit to achieve a satin-ish finish. I have pigmented lips so lipsticks with opaque coverage are my favorite. These are as smooth as butter and as moisturizing as it looks. I love that it’s SPF 15 so it not only hydrates dry lips it also protects it from the sun. Quite a unique feature you don’t usually get from lipsticks. It also has a minty fresh taste, smell, and coolness which is refreshing. It turns a little bit darker on my lips after a few hours but that’s just because my lips are prone to oxidation. Left you guys a swatch photo below. Hope you find this helpful!
