NEW AT TOAST
Back at it again at one of my fave cozy restaurants in the north — Toast Kitchen. The last time I was there I went gaga over their Twice Cooked Pork with Salted Egg Fried Rice dish and their ala New Orleans interior vibes at night. This time, I got to try their eight newly released dishes (listed below) with two of my friends for lunch. Food and prices as seen on the photo above (clockwise):
Sesame Shrimp Salad P368
Sweet and Spicy Tropical Shrimp P629
Matcha Brazo P165
Rib Stack P888
Salt and Pepper Squid P339
F-Bomb Fries P235
Galbi Short Plate with Kimchi Rice P549

My friend, Nina loved their Sesame Shrimp Salad. She said “the greens were fresh and crunchy, shrimp was perfectly cooked. Yung crunchy toppings were really good too – crunchy and not oily at all. The dressing was perfect”. She’s into healthy eating, so she had a good amount of salad for our lunch. Martin, really liked the semi-spicy Nachoz. He said they were crunchy and had a lot of flavors and ingredients in it that complimented each other, “They were generous with the toppings”. Toast Kitchen is really always on point with their crunchy dishes.
My favorite, which I was actually surprised to pick is their Matcha Brazo Cake. Guys, I-dislike-matcha. Matcha lovers please don’t kill me lol! But this cake tasted so good that it somehow changes how I feel about matcha a bit. If you like green tea you’re definitely going to enjoy this dessert. If not, try it anyway it could surprise you like it did me. Some of my other faves are their Sweet and Spicy Tropical Shrimp and F-Bomb Fries.
