PLAINS & PRINTS
Yess three fashion blog posts in a row. I never would have thought I’d get into clothes this much and this fast. I just attended the launch of Plains and Prints’ newest capsule collection in collaboration with Vania Romoff. She’s one of the most sought after Filipino designers at the moment who’s known for her feminine romantic designs. I have to say guys, the event was so whimsical! It felt like spring — filipino version.
I love that her collection is inspired by confident, fun-loving, filipina and that you’ll see beautiful bougainvillea and ikat prints (ikat is a dyeing technique that creates patterns like the orange top in the intro photo above) on some of the clothes. They are wearable, relaxed, and functional at the same time. They reminded me of Ilocos’ Fort Ilocandia. It’s this beautiful beach front hotel in Luzon that we used to visit when I was a kid. The hotel is made of red orange bricks and there are bougainvillea flowers all over the place. And the clothes in this collection makes me want to pack my bags and fly there for a vacation asap!

It’ll be available in all Plains & Prints stores nationwide on July 15, 2017.
Make sure to check out the bougainvillea dress and skirts,
those are my top faves!
