My First Impressions & Top 5 Products To Try At Banila Co.

B BY BANILA

Fun, Easy, and Quick Makeup

I’ve never been so excited to try a Korean beauty brand for the first time. I’ve heard tons of good reviews of their cult-fave Clean it Zero cleanser from other bloggers (abroad and local). And to discover that the same brand also launched a makeup collection called B. By Banila is quite interesting! So let me give you a run down of their new collection that we tested and played with during the launch, then tell you all about my top five picks from the bunch.

TOP 5 FAVE

Clean It Zero Is their best-selling cleanser and the number one item in my list. It’s very effective at removing makeup, including my notorious waterproof mascaras and lip creams. It smells like cupcakes and ice cream! It also has this super smooth creamy texture that melts on your skin which always makes me feel like i’m having a spa treatment when I use it. The latest version comes in a new packaging with better formulation. It has 4 variants now; Original (pink tub that I’m using, also known as the most effective at removing makeup), Revitalizing and Purifying (formerly Classic, Resveratrol and Purity respectively), and they added a new type called Nourishing. Cheer Gradation Cheek Pure Peach (price P795) is one of my fave coral pink blushes. Its gradient color allows you to control how peachy you want your blush. It has a nice satin finish that makes your cheeks pop and appear fuller.

Eyecrush Shimmer Shadow Goldish Tiara (price: P425) is as pretty as its name! is a creamy shimmery shadow I like to use as a highlight for my shoulders, collar bone, and chest. It reminds me of those shimmer powders girls used at parties / clubs. Eyecrush Shimmer Foil Lost Red (price: P745) is a beautiful pink red metallic eyeshadow with intense color pay-off. It isn’t very easy to blend but it’s also why I like it a lot. It wont budge or crease once its applied on the lids, which is a rare trait for metallic eyeshadows. Lastly, if you’re into rosegold, you’re going to like Eyecrush Shadow Palette Pink Crush (price:P975). It’s fairly pigmented but you can build up the color to a certain intensity and its colors are just beautiful.
