I’ve never been so excited to feature a new and affordable brand in my blog. Cathy Doll is a popular asian brand brought to us by Karmart. This was first try of the brand, so I went after their products with out any expectations other than I knew that the packaging is going to be cute. And I was right… But what surprised me the most are their boxes. They had tiny almost-nude dolls printed on them! So daring hehe!

I was blown away at how much I ended up liking most of them. These are my top 5 recommendations from their Nude Me line. It’s a collection of makeup ideal for everyday wear. You can find these at Watsons and selected SM store, and Robinsons Department store,

Let’s start with the Nude Me Pink Champagne Eyeshadow Palette (I feel like tons of you already like this palette na #rosegold goals) and their 3D Face Forward Nefertiti Contour Kit. These two have similar formulation. They are both milky smooth in texture that they honestly feel like a high-end brand when you swatch them. They have good pigmentation — not so intense but also not light — although some eyeshadows (especially the matte and frosted ones) need to be applied more to build up the color, the blush is the most beautifully pigmented. These lasts 4 hours on me before I notice any fading.

The color selection are really good. The contour palette is like a dupe for some popular high end blushes, highlighters, and bronzers from Nars. While the eyeshadow palette reminded me of my Naked 3 palette. Just look at those pretty pink nude shades!

The Nude Me Liquid Lip Mattes are hands down one of my fave liquid lip creams. They are so good guys. They are very pigmented, light weight, doesn’t smudge, almost opaque, so smooth when applied, covers some lip lines (I have a lot of those) and the colors are super flattering on a lot of skintones. All of these shades look good on me (no exageration guys, even the True Brown shade). They last the entire day with slight fading that starts after 7 hours.

I love them all but if I had to pick just three, my top faves would have to be; #03 Rose Embroidery, it’s a brown pink nude ala Kylie Jenner shade, #07 Moss Rose (as in Kate Moss? hehe!) which is a medium mauve nude pink shade, and #09 Burgundy Red a warm deep power red shade. I’m prone to lip creams oxidation so these turn a little bit darker on me after a few hours, they’re still beautiful tho!
