TWO AFFORDABLE PUREDERM MAKEUP WIPES YOU SHOULD TRY + GIVEAWAY

Makeup remover wipes can either be your best friend or your worst enemy. Best friend ‘cos it’s there for you when you come home at night tired and just can’t bring yourself to the bathroom to wash off your makeup before bedtime. An enemy ‘cos, if you’re not careful, some makeup wipes with harsh formula or not-soft-enough cloth can dry the life out of your delicate skin. I’ve been there. I even avoided using this specific type of product until recently when I met Purederm. I couldn’t pass on testing these out since my blogger friend Niña raved about their makeup remover towelettes (i think she pretty much owns all variants!).

Purederm sent over six products including their new “Purederm Beauty Duo” — Purederm Vitamin Makeup Remover Towelettes and Purederm Clean and Fresh Peeling Gel. The other products are exfoliating foot mask, nose pore strips, spot reducer gel patches, and eyemakeup remover pads. And my top two favorite items from the bunch that I wanna recommend to you now are their makeup cleanser towelettes and pads. You can get all of these products at Watsons.

MY TOP TWO
PUREDERM PRODUCTS

The first selling point of their Purederm Vitamin Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes is its price (around P79.75 for a set of 30 sheets). You won’t  feel any guilt each time you pull out a sheet from its nicely sealed pouch. The towelettes are soft, have a subtle fresh scent, and are big enough to cover my face. It’s comfortable to use. I need around two towelettes to remove my everyday makeup and an extra Purederm Soft and Mild Eye Makeup Remover Pad. The eye pads are pretty much similar to their towelettes except that they are round and smaller to nicely fit around the eyelids and remove eye makeup.

Both products can remove my everyday makeup effectively but may still need extra help when it comes to super hard-to-get-rid-off waterproof mascaras that even my micellar water cleansers have a hard time cleaning (I use baby oil for those stubborn type of makeup). Which is still not so bad for a fairly priced makeup cleanser that I keep in my skincare drawer for tired (or lazy) days and also to bring on trips when I travel.

Have you tried these products? Did it work on you?

  • I absolutely swear by the Collagen variant of this. I haven’t tried your top two choices but I’m definitely getting those! And I actually prefer these over the Simple makeup remover wipes (dries easily) and they’re much more affordable!

Wow! Another giveaway sis..ur so generous! Anyways, I have tried the Argan makeup towelettes before when they are on sale. Then recently I bought the Vitamin towelettes, it really is good on removing makeup leaves a clean feeling. And the other product is the Pimple gel patch which is kinda okay for me. Tho, it doesn’t stick for a long time on my face specially when I sleep.

  • I’ve heard about this brand and used them before, I didn’t know they have make-up remover wipes now, it’s worth a try. Nice to find your blog!

Ugh I tried the wipes and I think I got a breakout afterwards. I really want to try their other products though. :)
