TOP 3 “PAMPER ME” PRODUCTS FROM LUSH

Did you guys know that Lush has been actively standing up for animal rights for over 30 years now? I have a little Yorkie that I love sooo much, and I’m pretty sure that I speak in behalf of Elle Woods when I say that any beauty company that helps protect other animals from being experimented on is a front runner on my list.

Lush’s natural skincare line is just as impressive btw. I first heard of Cup O Coffee face (and body) mask from Brenda who raved about it on her blog, and ever since then I’ve been harassing my favorite ladies from Lush Alabang to politely nag Lush USA to send some here. So you could just imagine my excitement when Lush called me to say, “you won a free year supply of Lush products!” lol i’m kidding — but the excitement level was the same when they said Cup o Coffee is now debuting and available in the Philippines. BTW they sell it in limited stocks so grab one as soon as you see it.

FRESH ORGANIC SKINCARE

Cup O Coffee smells exactly like freshly brewed coffee in the morning. Coffee enthusiasts… or not (thats me) you’ll be addicted to its scent. And this scent is going to make up for the fact that you’ll look like there’s mud on your face for the next 10 minutes before you rinse it off. It brightens my skin — my face looked fresh right after I used the mask — it deeply cleanses, and it gently scrubs my skin’s dryness and some blackheads away. The only downside is it’s short shel life of I think 2 to 3 months. I had to “rush use” it on my body and it works as well as it did on my face.

Ocean Salt, on the other hand is a slightly more exfoliating body (or face) scrub. What i like most about this is its scent — i always imagine a beach spa party whenever I use it — it’s very soothing!  The sea salt scrub effectively exfoliates, while it slowly melts on my skin. After that, it leaves my skin silky smooth thanks to the avocado and coconut it in.

FIZZLING BATH BOMBS

Lush is really known for their bath bombs that come in different relaxing scents and adorable shapes and sizes — some even have sparkling glitters and petals in it. Got to live out my childhood dream to bathe in glitters! They’re also season appropriate to the point that every holiday means the YouTubers are about to make a Christmas, Autumn, or a Halloween *Lush haul*.

My top top faves are; The Experimenter — this smells super fresh and you’ll love the vibrant colors it creates as it spins on the water, Twilight — smells like cotton candy, turns the water pink, blue, and then purple with micro glitters that (don’t worry) aren’t hard to rinse off, Phoenix Rising — has more of an aromatic scent, that radiates hot pink to purple color with little gold dust in it on the tub. Sex Bomb, — one of their best selling fresh floral scent, turns the water pink.

These are my go-to products when i want a little spa session on my own. I promise you guys any of these would make an amazing gift for Mothers Day. Have you tried any of these products before? :)

Hmmm, thanks for the Mother’s Day tip! Didn’t realize the holiday is coming up! I’ve always been attracted to Lush stores because of the scent! Although I’ve always felt put out because it’s too pricey for me haha. I might splurge some for Mother’s Day though :)

  • so jealous, you have all my favorites!! Cup of Coffee and Ocean Salt are my favorite scrubs. Nothing could wake me up more than the Cup of Coffee. The scent is just amazing. You’re right about the shelf life of that. I got mine 3 months ago and almost to the bottom of it and it just started to separate(oil and scrub not mixed together anymore). I will have to rush to finish it before it goes bad.

Unfortunately I’m not really into Lush products but these sounds quite interesting. ;)

  • I’ve always watched lush hauls from Zoella and I can only imagine what they feel like on the skin and how scented those bath bombs are or how overwhelming their stores are (both on the eyes and nose heheh).. I’m really hoping I can try some of their products! I’m all for cruelty free products :)

I haven’t tried any Lush product. I hope they will have a giveaway soon where we could win a year (or just 6 months) supply of Lush products. I’ll do everything to win the giveaway, haha!
I’m interested with Cup O Coffee. I’m not a big coffee drinker. I’m actually more addicted to the scent of the coffee that with coffee itself, haha! Can you tell that i’m weird?

waaaa envy mode here. I only ever use those bath bombs when I stay at a hotel room with a bath tub in it. coz I don’t have a bath tub at home. Thus explains, why I make it a point to stop by at a LUSH store every time I go to manila, since I immediately use it on the hotel I am staying at. LOL

I really wnated to try out more Lush products…but their life is so little that I just tend to avoid their products. A Mask can live in my shelf for more than 5 months…But the smell of coffee calls for me :(

I really do like their soaps, specially Sultana (I think that’s the name of it). It’s so moisturising *-*
