Wishes & Snowflakes
Halloween is finally over, which means it’s time for us to share our Christmas wishlists. If you haven’t written one yet, I strongly encourage that you make your list soon because some people like to do their Christmas shopping early, and you want your Secret Santa to buy the right gifts for you. Okay family, if you are reading this, I beg you, please pick the last item on my list :)
To officially welcome Christmas, I also made it snow here in my blog. Most of my friends who are from Europe highly dislike snow, but since I’ve never experienced snow, I am quite fascinated with it. I am about to leave the house soon and if everything goes well today, I might just get one of these wishes granted :) So before I start getting ready, here is a quick run down on the things I am praying for this Christmas.
A Nice Red Christmas Mug
Coffee mugs are one of the most common Christmas gifts, along with lotions and shower gift sets. Not everyone who may want to give you a gift knows you very well, so a mug would be a safe and inexpensive choice.
Lush Christmas Gift Set
I’ve been seeing a lot of blogs posting Lush hauls and I am slowly dying from jealousy. Every year Lush releases sweet scents and items that are only up for grabs during Christmas. I really hope that they are available here in the Philippines.
Bath and Body Works Home Scents
I’m quite sure that we don’t have these items here in my country, but I’ve been wanting to get a hold of these items for the longest time.
Sleek Eye Shadow Palette
I love this brand so much. I have a couple of their blushes and I intend to collect more products from them because they have very good quality and you are definitely getting more than what you pay for.
Estee Lauder Pleasures Perfume
This is by far my favorite fragrance of all time. It’s sweet, fresh, and most especially it does not give me a headache. I find that it is also not as expensive as most high-end brand fragrances.
YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick in Caress Pink / Fauborg Peach / Nude Beige
I was supposed to buy this lipstick online but ended up purchasing from a different brand instead. I’ve never tried these before, so it’s risky for me to order them online. There are a lot of good reviews written about these lipsticks but I’ve also read that their lasting power is quite low. So I am still a bit hesitant with ordering them, but it would be nice to receive one as a present, just look at how elegant their packaging is.
iPad Mini
I don’t usually like buying gadgets unless I really need them, but ever since I started blogging, I am now a little bit more active on the internet. It became harder to do some things online using my phone and sometimes I need to use something smaller than my laptop. And so I thought it would be nice to get a tablet and the iPad Mini is the perfect size for me.
Flat Screen TV
I used to not watch TV a lot. If I wanted to see a show or an old movie, I just watched them on my laptop. But since I am now mostly at home and I enjoy watching more shows, getting a nice new TV for my bedroom sounds like a good idea.

Love the header picture but my favourite is the snow. But only on your blog not real snow. Although I love snow, it is a nightmare because I keep tripping and hurting myself and it get freaking cold after the snow. Nice touch Shayne.

I used Lush products and I did not have a great experience, was very disappointed. My face just got worse and I stopped using it.

You have an achievable wish list. :) Im sure someone special will make it all come true. I personally would love to receive an Ipad mini. We have a flatscreen TV in the living room but if someone will give me one for the bedroom, I wouldnt say no. :)

Nice list. I would also love to get my hands on some Lush gift sets this year, hehe. I grew up in a very snowy area so I am a little bit annoyed by snow… it's very beautiful when it's first snowing, but the cleanup afterwards is not much fun. :P

I haven't though about mine…specially because it's quite big I guess.
I wanted a Samsung Galaxy because of school, but I might get it later since I'm decorating my room (and I want a pretty vanity from IKEA). I also wanted a drawing tablet from Wacom because I love to draw…but also wanted new boots because mine are quite old and I need both black and brown boots (because I hate wearing black with brown and vice-versa!). I also wanted some new clothes (although I might get some from promotions and sales)
Oh yeah…and the beauty department. With Laura Mercier arriving to my country, my wishlist went nuts. Who doesn't want a pretty new foundation? Oh and Bobby Brown's holiday collection…that palette and blush are to die for (I'll have to run for them)
I don't know..I want to much D: (did I mention that I'm a nerd and Harry Potter lover who wants the new American Books because of the Pretty covers? )

Hi Shayne! That was really interesting to read, I haven't made a wish list for a long time! Mainly because the stuff I want are trips or fairly -expensive- items haha I definitely agree with the Christmas mugs, I think people receive at last one in their life sometime! I know I've given my fair share lol I hope your family gets you the last item hahaha and that you also receive everything on this list!
That Starbucks mug is sooo cute, and I also want an iPad mini! Haha. I'm actually already drafting my christmas wishlist but I guess my bday wishlist would have to go first. LOL.

I absolutely love the falling snow!!! I have slowly started with a wish-list, which can be used for Christmas as well. I have 3 sleek palettes I want, haha. Already ordered one myself! An eyeshadow by Bobbi Brown, and some other stuff. We will be decorating the house soon.. :)

Love this wishlist! I've been wanting a YSL lipstick as well, I love the packaging. And the iPad mini is super cool – I was considering buying one when I was on the hunt for a tablet but ended up finding a really great deal on a regular size iPad 2 so I'm satisfied :) Hope you get everything you wished for!

This is a lovely list and I wish that you would get most of the items on your wish list. I don't usually make xmas wish list coz the things I want are not exactly tangible and if they are, they are far to expensive. But I really enjoy reading wish lists and the reasons behind why somebody wants something.

How did I miss this post?! It's so cute how you've made it snow! awwwh haha as a British blogger I can confirm that the snow can be such a pain! but it does look magical when it first all snows and no-body has walked out and crunched through it and left muddy tracks!
The YSL lippies will forever be on my wishlist, but they're just a little too luxurious! haha
