A Slightly More Personal Post
I had a hard time coming up with a good title for this post. This was suppose to be a monthly haul entry. As I was taking product pictures, I realized that I wasn’t really into writing one today. In fact, I was feeling a little gloomy and I can’t say if it’s because of the rainy weather or perhaps I caught a cold (hopefully not).
I don’t know if you noticed but there is a lack of pictures of myself in my own blog. This is because, lately, I became very self conscious and insecure. You probably think that’s nothing, I envy you. I look up to bloggers who are very comfortable in sharing lots of pictures of themselves. Not to sound very dramatic but I just want to be honest and put it out there. After all one of the main reasons why I started blogging is so that I can slowly get out of my comfort zone and hopefully try new things – such as entering the twitter world hahaha. Yep I official gave in to Tellie‘s advice and got twitter. I still don’t have a clue what to do with it yet but hey step one is done! :)
So here are some things that I am loving lately and a few personal photos (most of it you’ve probabaly seen already) ; my Naked palette and a box of Royce chocolates – gifts, Chanel translucent powder, Flower decor, Suesh cosmetics case, a planner, a book, and a strange looking turle necklace that i got from Mango. He looks weird and all wrinkled but he is nice when worn. And of course Bentley, my precious dog, that’s how he looks like in the morning, barely breathing under the pile of beddings. Hi Shayne! :D I hope you didn't catch a cold. (: I just want to tell you that you have nothing to be insecure about because you are a beautiful person yourself. I can also tell that you are wonderful woman even though I haven't met you in person yet. ;) And, you're really doing great with your blog. I know it's hard to believe ( I still have a hard time believing myself ) but everyone is beautiful some just have a little more confidence than others. That's what I'm struggling with a little too, accepting myself the way I am, being comfortable in my own skin and trying not to compare myself with other girls. We'll get there! :D ( I don't have a lot of photos of myself in my blog too! haha, I really don't see the point since I don't do make-up looks anyway )
we all have days like this..and i think today was somewhat like that for me…i don't take pictures of myself when i know i look bloated..so it's okay..everyone does it..:)

Aw, I understand what you mean about feeling a little self-conscious sometimes. But that's the beauty of having a blog… you find lots of new friends who don't judge you. Besides, you're gorgeous! :)

hi cj :) i agree with what you said. we really have to work on confidence, especially on down days like this for me. thank you for your advice :) i was thinking maybe someday i could do some make up looks but i have to overcome my shyness first so im taking it one step at a time ^^
thank you sam :) i rarely have breakouts on my skin and i think it's because i drink a lot of water, i have insomnia so it cant be sleep. i really hit that limit of at least 8 glasses of water a day. i also use moisturizer regularly and it helps :)

There's no reason to be self conscious :) we're all friends here and I think the makeup community is just so accepting regardless of how your skin or hair looks etc. You look perfect either way! :)
I understand where you're coming from Shayne, ever girl have their own insecurities, whether big or small. It's not easy to be a girl because society always judge us, boys hardly thrash talk other boys but girls thrash talk other girls all the time that's why insecurities and self-consciousness develop. But you don't have to worry about anything Shayne coz you look amazing and it's just a matter of time when you'll gain more confidence :) just keep your head up high all the time because you have a smile that can light up any room, trust me! :)
